SEA making off

To develop this installation I had the help from some volunteers from the Red Cross who not only helped me but also taught me things I didn’t know about dying!

The fabrics were dyed using blue pigments and soymilk. Repeated dying until a certain height was used to recreate the waves and the movement.

Salt was used as a way to add texture, smell and light reflections. I made some seawater with added salt bath on the bottom of the fabric for it to absorb it and crystalize.
